International tuning firm Racing Sport Concepts introduces the CS600 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 upgrade package at SEMA 2009.

Launching November 2-6th at SEMA 2009 in Las Vegas, NV, the CS600 package allows Gallardo owners to update the looks and performance of their vehicles to match those of the new LP560 at a fraction of the cost of a trade-in. “Times have been tough and although they are getting better, many people are still looking for ways to update their exotics rather than buying the latest model.” Says RSC’s VP Hershel Zelcer. “The CS600 package is an inexpensive way to refresh your Gallardo and keep your enjoyment levels high without spending the money on the new LP.”

The effect of the styling package is immediate and dramatic, led by the high-pressure polyurethane front bumper, a direct bolt-on styled after the LP560’s updated front end and finished with a carbon fiber lower lip. This piece is accentuated by high-quality carbon fiber trim pieces all around the car; with a rear diffuser, mirror housings, washer covers and side skirts all fitting easily to the car’s original mounting points. The end result looks cohesive and defined, accentuating the car’s existing lines rather than redrawing them completely and giving an updated, more aggressive look.

To match the looks, RSC has improved performance with a power increase of 39 BHP over the standard car. This is achieved through high flow air filters, ECU tuning, combined with a lightweight titanium exhaust weighing a staggering 13lbs (47lbs lighter than the OE system) as well as optional cat bypass pipes. Rear tips are replaced with the LP560’s twin tips, and a new smaller engine vent that fits between them.
RSC also includes its own EGear transmission upgrade to bring shifting on par with the LP560’s improvements. The software upgrade operates in
both paddle shift and automatic modes, drastically reducing shift times, and simultaneously improving smoothness.

Optional extras include Audi R8 style front LED light kits, or upgrading to RSC’s signature Taglio wheel; styled after the original Callisto wheel but available in 20” size and customizable colors and finishes.

Packages start at $19,995 plus optional extras (Taglio wheels $5495.00, LED lights $1195.00)

RSC Ferrari 430
Sport Exhaust

Despite being described by Jeremy Clarkson as possibly the best car he had ever driven, the 430 has a major shortcoming as far as the exhaust is concerned. The OE exhaust is cumbersome, bulky and heavily baffled, and has been criticised as having particularly uninspiring tips. Due to flaws in its design and construction it also suffers from major problems with cracking in the tip sections of the exhaust. The exhaust note is also unpopular with some owners, especially those who recall the spine-tingling sound of the 355.

Racing Sport Concepts has designed the ultimate system for the 430, offering both form and function. A valve-less single flow exhaust pathway has been combined with a flow merging rear box. This setup optimises gas flow and balances sound waves for a smoother, less flat exhaust note than the OE setup. In addition to performance, a set of larger tips fills the cut-outs for a more sporting and aggressive look. Finished in ‘black chrome’ but available on custom orders in regular chrome and polished steel finishes, there isn’t a better looking exhaust on the market today.

This system reduces the factory weight of 22kg to a featherweight 12, and eliminates the awkward flanges and harsh right angle bends which are a weak point on the factory systems.

This System Features:

Lightweight Construction – significant weight savings over the bulky OE exhaust. Total weight of 12kg saves 10kg over the OE system.

Top Quality Materials - Aeronautical Grade T-304 Stainless throughout

Sporting Sound – Flow merging rear box produces smooth sound at low RPM rising to a racing howl at higher RPM

Improved Thermodynamics – better heat dissipation to reduce underfloor temperatures and dispersion of exhaust gases

Aggressive & Unique Tip Style – Large black chrome tips fill cut-outs for the perfect look
